Project initiated in 2013 by John Silvestre on electric guitar and looper, Typhon's music is unique. Music with rock roots that explores as many universes as it has influences: from pop to experimental, from post-punk to post-rock, from cinematographic ambience to noise and nowave ... It comes from the guts, from the heart, it is sometimes cold, it seeks to pierce the soul, or find it. Often epic and captivating, Typhon concerts can be an experience of both punk intensity and poetic introspection.

After 3 bedroom albums composed and recorded in Brussels between 2013 and 2015, Typhon recorded his first EP produced by Paul Alkhallaf (Pine Cone Songs, released in 2017) and his first LP, AVANT L'AURORE, self-produced in 2020, which will be released in 2021.

TYPHON is currently accompanied by Gabriel Goumaz (drums), Simon Genoud (guitar, bass), Luca Manco (guitar) and Cleopatre Brandner (vocals) and performs mainly in Switzerland.
