SWEAR I LOVE YOU
SWEAR I LOVE YOU is a Franco-Swiss pop-rock group, recorded in January 2020 at the St-Martin farm in Montreux.
Swear I Love You is a group of music-loving buddies passionate about indie rock, 80s pop and electro. Joel Bovy (drums), Pacifique Vuillemin (bass, vocals) and Mehdi Benkler (guitarist and photographer) had already been playing together since 2010 in groups like Forks and Mk-Ultra, projects that were more looking for Earth or Bardo Pond in via Psychic TV. They are joined by Simon Genoud (guitar, vocals) in Swear I Love You, whose music is more reminiscent of the universe of Anton Newcombe or Mark E Smith.
I recorded their first album in January 2020 before joining them on stage on guitar and synthesizer.
